34. Bright Idea: a Better Mousetrap November 11, 2006

Posted by Matt Fleming, PsyD in Product.

I came across this Bright Idea on the Swissmiss blog, and it originates with Chrisglass.com.

Since SparkBugg.com is partially about trying to build a better mousetrap (as they say), I fell in love with this idea. This mousetrap design, like the drawing itself, is simple and elegant. It achieved its goal within the hour for Chris Glass himself (the man is clearly a sparkbugg), trapping the mouse in a wastebastet, since mice like tunnels and food. The unharmed mouse was then released in the woods far from home. To me, any idea that prevents death is a bright one.
