130. Bright Idea: Mikro Man January 16, 2007

Had I owned the Coolpix S9 (see post #129), I would have filmed a 30-second stop-motion clip of Mikro Man Office. This flat piece of metal, the size of a business card, was cut in such a way that one could fold in the various pieces to make a sculpture.

This would have been cool as a quick video clip where we would see a flat piece of metal arrange itself into a sculpture of a man sitting at a desk (look HERE for example). Read more about the maker HERE.

This reminds me of similar products, but made from paper. Check out Peter Callesen’s amazing sculptures at his website.
