229. Bright Idea: The “One-Click” Butter Cutter March 16, 2007

Posted by Matt Fleming, PsyD in Food and Drink, Product.

This Bright Idea was submitted by Lennia (thanks!), who is actually the daughter of the inventor of the “One-Click” Butter Cutter ($20).

Use one hand to quickly and easily slice off a piece of butter. Also acts as a butter dish, but with an even smaller footprint in the fridge.

Check out their website HERE (especially the Video).

History: Conceived in 1996, The Butter Cutter required 5 years and 60 prototypes to make, and another 3 years to get the best mold made.

Good Point! And it wasn’t a find, per se (the daughter of the inventor found me), but thanks, anyway.
