If you got to Bern, Switzerland, the price is more in the $1200 range. But considering, there is only one place and 2 people that make them, some would consider that price fair. The $5900 Hang that just sold was victim of an Ebay bid war that got out of hand. Power of the free market I guess.

Danny, thanks for that good info. You seem to know much about Hang Drums. Hopefully the drum becomes more popular, more produced, less expensive, and more common.

Hello to you all. I am selling one of my unique instruments in my collection. I have a C Penatonic scale Hang Drum that I have had for a few years now. It has very little mileage on it, and is in very good condition. I’ve only played it by my hands, never has a stick or a mallet has touched this graceful melodic instrument.
I am selling this – because I wish to acquire another instrument, and I rarely play this fine instrument. I am taking offers at this time, I am looking for a higher bid, however I will ship over-seas, and depending on the ship-price, it might be free, but it depends on its destination.
