550. Bright Idea: the Workout 180 October 4, 2007

Posted by Matt Fleming, PsyD in Product, Video.

Here is another Everyday Edisons product: the Workout 180. This clip is a taste of the next best-selling workout apparatus, which you will likely see in a late-night infomercial. The inventor (read about her here) showed up with a foam step as a prototype (for instability), and the Everyday Edisons team helped it evolve into this multi-use device, the Workout 180. Even I, being one lazy and soft slug, am tempted to buy one. This clip is 4 minutes long.

This looks like something Chuck Norris would endorse.

When and where can I get one?
How much does it weigh — it looks very portable.
If so, it would be a great device when training my clients!!

I have ordered this a received it today. I am so disappointed. There is no video with it. There is a small book, which isn’t spiral bound so turning the pages for each exercise should be a blast. For a bonus they include a huge “quick reference” poster but were kind enough to print on both sides so you can’t really hang it. I emailed them prior to ordering and asked if it came with a video (I would not have gotten it otherwise) and got no response but was dumb enough to order it anyway.
